I´m delighted to announce that I have been awarded with the Ortega y Gasset award for my work on the refugee crisis. I´m receiving a prize of 15.000 euros and the ceremony will be held in Madrid on May 5th.
The exhibition showing my last project "On The Banks of the Nile" is now open to public at San Telmo museum in San Sebastián, at the Basque Country.

This project is included in 2016, European Capital of Culture and was funded by the BBVA foundation.
This coming wednesday will be the opening of my last project in Egypt "On The Banks of The Nile" at the San Telmo Museum in San Sebastian, in the Basque Country.
This exhibition includes a serie of images I have been taking since 2011 in the country, including a recent journey in 2015-2016, trying to document the Egyptian society.
It was funded by the BBVA foundation.
